Before I begin I would like to say that this is going to be the last post I make about Drake for the week. I love talking about him, but I'm trying to maintain diversity in my blog. I know everyone may not like him as much as I do, and I know that some people may not want read about him all the time. If you have any suggestions on what you would enjoy reading please feel free to comment. Thank You.

I was so excited when I got the news that Drake had a video for his song "Over". I fell in love with this song the second I heard it. Hearing that there was a video for it was thrilling, because I knew just like the song it would have a special meaning to it. As I was watching the video i'll admit I was a bit confused, but I was expecting to feel this way. It was the exact same feeling I had when I first watched the "Best I Ever Had" video. I'm sure if you've seen the video and know the song you would understand. I've learned several differnt things about Drake by listening to alot of his music and watching him on TV. This is what helped me analyze the entire video.

After I watched the video for the first time for pure enjoyment only, I watched it a second time but paid more attention to what I was listening to instead of what I was watching. Remember, it is still important to pay a little bit of attention to what your watching while your listening, but listening is still more important . This helps me grasp what the song is about, and I get a better feel for what I'm suppose to be looking for. Its just like taking a test, you read the questions first and then read the paragraph. That way you already know what your looking for or at least have an idea, and it saves time.

My third time watching the video was the most exciting, because now I get to test how smart I am. This is when I put everything together and try to make sense of it. I noticed that the video starts off with him sitting in a room by himself. Then he turns into fire, but it looks more like some sort of explosion, and in the explosion are images of him and two girls. There are images of various things projected onto the walls of the room, and of course each image represents something (I'm not going to go into detail about each image just watch the video at the bottom). Then he goes into this dramatic performance. The video is like this for the most part until it switches up in the second verse. This is when they show the two girls for the first time since we got a quick glimpse of them at the very beginning. One girl is a seductive dancer and the other is beautiful young lady.

He's sitting in the room by himself because he's thinking, thinking about the fast life he's living and the many things that are in-stored for him down the road. When his body was turned into fire and showed the images of the two girls , I think the fire represents his explosive new life, and the two girls were either a foreshadowing of what to expect or it was apart of whatever he was thinking about. The images projected onto the wall are just clues about whats going through his head at that moment. For example: the road thats moving fast which represents the fast life he's living and where its going to lead him in the end. I'll let you guys try to figure out what the other images mean. Remember when I said to pay attention to what your listening to while your watching, but make sure you give listening more attention than you do watching. I think the dramatic performance is a way to enhance the whole meaning of the song and video. It's him expressing himself and this new life that he's experiencing. He's having a hard time picking between the two girls at the very end. I think he wants to be with the beautiful young girl, but the seductive dancer is not an easy cookie to turn down. Who he picks remains a mystery.

Overall the video was "interesting". There was a high level of creative thinking put into the making of this video. I must admit this video kept my mind quite busy. I knew trying to figure it out would require some "outside the box"thinking. Drake never fails to give his fans the best. He's a true genius, and I know I say this all the time but it's true. He's truly great and this is only the beginning of the beginning of his career.

P.S
Drake if your reading this I would looove to hang out with you one day. ^_^

Remember you can always put it on full screen ;)
